Trivia Time!

Hello everybody! It's time for the Sports Quiz Show! Hosted by your pneumonia-ridden host, Camelot! In today's game, we will be looking at some tough sports questions! And there's a good amount of sports on hand! From football to basketball to baseball, the questions will be more challenging as we go along!

Note: You can't google for the answer, for example, say you saw a question about hockey. You have to answer it off the top of your head, and not go to google and type in "hockey reference website".

Question 1:

Barry Bonds set the single season record for home runs, with 73, in 2001. Who held the record before?

Question 2:

What city did the San Francisco Giants almost move to, but at the last minute stayed in San Francisco due to a legal loophole?

Question 3:

How many consecutive seasons have the Atlanta Braves been in the playoffs?

Question 4:

Eric Gagne won the Cy Young Award in 2003, being the first relief pitcher to do so in a while. Who was the last pitcher to do so, and what year?

Question 5:

What baseball player holds the record for single-season home runs with a first name of two first names put together?

My REAL First Post

That was just a little introductory post. Here's my real first post:

Well, here's my politics, with a little batch of sports in there:

Sports: Well, Roger Clemens came back with the Houston Astros. (Sounds a little bit like a certain BASKETBALL LEGEND who we all know, hmm?) Now, the Astros have pitching so good, a pitcher who goes 12-7 or 13-6 or 14-5 would not make the cut as an Astros pitcher. Every single pitcher (YES, even Octavio Dotel) could go as good as 17-5 as a starter, in Octavio's case. The Astros have already locked up the NL pennant. And even the batting is good, with players like Jeff Bagwell, Craig Biggio, or Lance Berkman.

Politics: Everybody nervously looks at Howard Dean, and then says "Um, I could beat him in a primary election." Note the ***um***. I think this is how the candidate power rankings go, in the top 7:

1. Howard Dean
2. Wes Clark
3. John Kerry
4. John Edwards
5. Al Sharpton
6. Dennis Kucinich
7. Carol Moseley-Braun

And yes, I ranked Al Sharpton higher than Dennis Kucinich. Kucinich is slipping, and slipping, and slipping.

Hello!

Hello everybody!

This is my blog. Whatever I say goes. And like I said, it IS 100% nonsense-free, alright? Alright.
